At Farmhouse, we designed the interiors to blend rustic authenticity with refined comfort, drawing inspiration from the rural Oxfordshire setting while steering clear of traditional country-house clichés. Our approach celebrates natural materials, reclaimed timber, stone, and lime-washed surface; paired with a neutral, earthy palette layered in rich textures such as linen, wool, and seagrass. We aimed to create spaces that feel relaxed and lived-in, mixing vintage and bespoke pieces to evoke a sense of evolution rather than perfection. Furniture is comfortable and home-like, with softened upholstery and timeless silhouettes, while global influences, from Navajo prints to subtle Moroccan details; add personality and depth. Overall, our design celebrates craftsmanship, warmth, and informality, creating a rustic yet sophisticated retreat that feels both grounded and effortlessly stylish.
